Glorious Tales That Probably Didn't Happen Quite The Way I Tell It
I am looking for a one-panel cartoonist to accompany my stories. There is no pay, but this is a chance to have your stuff circulate and be seen.
Contact me.
The arrangement is simple: You draw each week a few sketches to match ideas and themes presented in that's week's tale reflecting the tone and humor. Together we pick one, and you refine to make it appropriate for publication. When I submit the story, I submit your cartoon.
All is at-will. I don't own your stuff. You don't own mine. If everything goes well, and we decide to write a book, then we talk money, rights, and the rest, but no promises.
Influences: Garrison Keillor, Erma Bombeck, Dave Barry, James Thurber, Mark Twain.
